About Vormvolt

Your business is the starting point

A website, online shop or app should fit what you do and how you work. That is why we connect design and technology to a clear aim: helping visitors choose and making your day-to-day work easier.

Three phone screens from the WPC Solutions online shop: the Fencing collection page with the Filter and sort button, the anthracite garden screen product page with its image gallery, and the purchase section with height selection, quantity and order button.

From our own work: the WPC Solutions online shop on a phone, from collection and product page to placing an order.

Our aim

From visit to next step

Your website should make clear what you offer and who it is relevant to. A visitor should be able to find the right information, build trust and know what to do next: get in touch, make a choice or place an order.
That is what we work towards. With a clear structure, readable copy, suitable design and functions that do what they need to do.
Behind the scenes, we look at the way you work. A product configurator, customer portal or integration can be useful when it solves a specific problem. Not because every website needs as many features as possible.

Looking good at handover is not enough. A website must remain useful afterwards, for your visitors and for the people who work with it.

What we stand for

What guides our approach

01

Understand first, then build

What do you sell, who do you want to reach and what needs to improve? Those questions guide the design. We do not start with a favourite animation or a platform we want to apply everywhere.

Audience

Who do you want to reach, and what is that visitor looking for?

Content

What does someone need to know in order to make a choice?

Desired action

What should a visitor do next: get in touch, choose something or place an order?

Those answers determine the order of the pages, the headings and the placement of the most important button.

02

Craftsmanship is in the details too

A strong first impression matters. But the next page, the mobile menu and the contact form must be just as well considered. That is why we look not only at the bigger picture, but also at what people read, click and fill in along the way.

03

Clear about choices

Use an existing solution where it is sufficient. Choose custom work when a function or way of working calls for it. We explain the trade-off and discuss the costs, dependencies and management tasks involved.

Existing solution

If an existing app or standard function does what is needed, that can be wiser than new software. We do not automatically choose the most expensive option.

Custom work

If a function or way of working does not fit an existing solution, custom work may be the better choice. We discuss what building, management and later changes involve in advance.

From our own work

At WPC Solutions, the filters and sorting come from Shopify and the theme. We built the fencing calculator and planner ourselves.

04

In control, even after handover

You want to know how your website works and how to move forward. That is why management is part of the conversation too: what can you change yourself, what access do you need and who will handle any technical changes?

What we discuss at handover

What can you change yourself, such as copy, images or products?

What access do you need, and in whose name is it held?

Who will handle technical changes, and how will you arrange them?

At handover, you receive files, access and guidance on management. We agree what that includes for each project, such as accounts and licences from other parties. Some custom functions require technical knowledge to change.

Collaboration

How your question takes practical shape

We create custom websites, online shops and apps. You can read what each service involves on our services page. This is how a project generally progresses:

01

Set the direction

We map out the goal, audience, available content and required functions.

02

Design and align

We translate that information into structure, screens and the key interactions. Choices become visible before everything is fully developed.

03

Build and check

We develop the agreed elements and check the key journeys, such as searching, choosing, getting in touch or ordering.

04

Hand over and move forward

We record what is handed over, how management works and what support may be needed afterwards.

Tools

What we work with

The tools we use are not the most interesting part, but you will want to know what your site will run on and what you need to maintain it. We choose the platform for each project from the five shown on the Platforms page. This site itself is built in Framer.

Our flagship project

WPC Solutions: €1,000,000 revenue within one year

Fencing calculator we built for WPC Solutions: selected garden post and mortar, a calculation for each part with quantities and an Add to basket button.

We built the WPC Solutions online shop and brought it to €1,000,000 in revenue within one year.

See the online shop, the developed screens and our contribution to the project.

About the project

WPC Solutions, a separate company, sells composite products for gardens, façades and interiors. We built the Shopify online shop and handled SEO and Google Ads.

A result from this project, not a revenue guarantee for other businesses.

Getting acquainted

When we are a good fit

Vormvolt is a good fit for a site where content does the work: a craft that needs explanation, a route to an enquiry, a menu or agenda that changes regularly, or an online shop whose platform and integrations suit the range.
Vormvolt is not a fit for advertising campaigns separate from an online shop that we build or manage. Nor when the existing brand identity only needs to be poured into a template.

Tell us what you want to improve

A new website, an online shop that could be clearer or a function that is currently missing? Tell us what you are up against. In an introductory conversation, we discuss what you need and whether our approach is a good fit.
