This site collects as little data as possible. Below you can read which data is received when you visit the site or use the contact form, which parties are involved and what your rights are.

This text describes the site’s current technical setup and has not yet been legally reviewed. It still needs to be reviewed by a lawyer and the missing details need to be completed.
Who processes your data
Vormvolt is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 42032159 and is based at Herengracht 320, 1016 CE Amsterdam. The websites are vormvolt.com and vormvolt.nl, and you can reach us at info@vormvolt.nl. [to be completed: VAT number].

What the contact form collects
The form asks for your name, email address, what your enquiry is about and your message. You may optionally provide your company name, the address of your existing website, the software involved and a budget indication, and say how you found us. Choosing a package is also optional; if you arrive via a package button on the pricing page, that package is already filled in.
We use this data solely to assess and respond to your enquiry. We use how you found us only to see which routes lead people to us. It is not used for advertising, sold or shared with others.
The form runs on Framer, the platform that also hosts this site. When you submit it, Framer processes your message and it reaches Vormvolt. [to be completed: where the message is stored or forwarded after submission, and how long it remains there].
Why we may use your data
Contact form and email. If you ask for a quote, a package or a collaboration, we use your data to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). If your message is about something else, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by sending the message. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
We need the required fields (your name, email address, subject and message) in order to respond. You are not required to use the form, but we cannot respond without that data.
Visitor statistics. For Framer Analytics, the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): knowing which pages are read so that we can improve the site. No cookies are involved and we see totals only.
Ad measurement. For advertising cookies, and for linking an enquiry to a click on one of our ads, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give it via the cookie notice and can withdraw it at any time via ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of every page. If you do not consent, the Google tag only sends a limited signal without cookies; the legal basis for that is our legitimate interest in knowing whether our ads work (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting and fonts. For displaying the site through Framer and loading the fonts through Google Fonts, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a site that is fast, secure and displayed consistently everywhere (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Framer and Google receive your IP address for this purpose. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest; see ‘Your rights’.
How long data is retained
We delete enquiries that do not lead to an assignment as soon as contact has concluded. If your message does lead to a project, correspondence is retained for as long as needed for the project and administration. [to be completed: a specific retention period in months for both cases].

Cookies, measurement and local storage
This site uses the Google Ads tag to measure which ads lead to an enquiry. Google advertising cookies are only set if you consent in the cookie notice; Google keeps them for up to 90 days. If you choose ‘Decline’ or make no choice, Google sets no cookies. The Google tag then only sends a limited signal without cookies or identifiers (Google Consent Mode), which lets Google estimate the number of enquiries from ads. We store your choice in your browser’s local storage under the key vv_consent. You can change it at any time via ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of every page.
Framer collects visitor statistics for this site through Framer Analytics. According to Framer, it uses no cookies or persistent identifiers and stores nothing that can identify a person. We see totals only, such as the number of visitors per page, country or device type. Apart from Framer Analytics and the Google tag, no other analytics or advertising package runs. To count unique visitors per day, Framer says it turns your IP address and browser data into a code (hash) using a secret key that is replaced and deleted every day.
One thing is stored, but not by us. The WhatsApp button stores the key vormvolt-whatsapp-intro in your browser’s session storage. It only records whether the button’s short animation has already been shown, so it does not play again on every page. It contains no personal data, its value does not leave your browser and it disappears when you close the tab.
Hosting, fonts and external requests
This site runs on Framer: Framer hosts the pages, processes the contact form and collects visitor statistics. As with every website, the server sees your IP address when you visit. Your browser loads the Bricolage Grotesque and Geist fonts through Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com). In doing so, your browser sends your IP address to Google.
According to Framer’s security information, Framer collects network, server and application logs in a central location and checks them for security incidents. Framer does not state there how long those logs are retained.
Your data may also be processed outside the European Union. According to Framer, its services run on Amazon Web Services in the United States, with additional infrastructure in Europe and Asia. Google may process data in, among other places, the United States, and states that it complies with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and uses the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses for this. There are no embedded video players, maps or social buttons on the site. Apart from Framer and Google Fonts, your browser loads the Google tag (googletagmanager.com), which sends the signals to Google Ads described above. No requests go to any other party. The ‘Directions in Google Maps’ link opens Google Maps only when you click it.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or have deleted the data we hold about you. You can ask us to restrict processing temporarily, for example while we check a correction. You can request the data you provided to us in a commonly used digital format or have it transferred to someone else. If we use data on the basis of our legitimate interest, you may object. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time; what we already did with your data before that remains lawful.
Send a request to info@vormvolt.nl. We respond within one month. Sometimes we first ask you to confirm that the data concerns you, so that we do not provide it to someone else.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). You can do so at any time, even if you have not contacted us first.
